Product Information

This is a US made Smith & Wesson M1917 "Brazilian Contract" revolver chambered in .45 ACP. This particular example was part of a small batch supplied to Brazil from 1937 to 1946. An initial 25,000 were ordered in 1937 and a final batch of 12,000 in 1946. These revolvers were issued to the military and police units. A rare S&W revolver.
