Product Information

A WWII era Swiss Luger, chambered in .30. The Model 1906/29 was produced as a simplified version of the 1906 Luger design. The 1906/29 featured an improved grip, lengthened grip safety, plastic grips, and a U-shape rear safety notch. Serial numbers ran from 50,011 to 77,941 with only 27940 ever made. As you can imagine with a gun of this quality, production was very slow with only hundreds being completed each year. The serial number of this pistol dates to wartime production. Switzerland was the first nation to adopt the Luger as a military sidearms and as with all Swiss made firearms it is beautifully made and is a joy to behold. The finish is completely original and the pistol is all matching numbers. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
