Deactivated WWII Grenade Launcher SMLE. Dated 1941. A very interesting piece. The British used this SMLE to fire grenades. Some were issued to the Home Guard.  The copper bindings were fitted to stop the rifle splitting from the immense pressure and forces when firing. It would have been fired like a mortar. A rare survivor from WWII. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
