A genuine and rare WWII Inglis Hipower MKI* Pistol with tangent sights and shoulder stock slot. The MKI* 's were only produced in very small numbers from early 1944 to October 1945, when production finished.  They were used by British airborne forces as well as covert operations and commando groups during WWII. Originally intended for the Nationalist Chinese, they were instead diverted and shipped to help with the British war effort. The MKI* with tangents sights such as this one rarely come up in the collectors market. This example still has its original wartime finish and is matching numbers to frame, barrel and slide. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
