Deactivated WWII Lead Lease Smith & Wesson .38 Victory Revolver

This is a WWII "Lead Lease" Smith & Wesson .38 Victory Revolver. The Victory revolvers were first introduced in 1942 starting with serial number V1. This example is number V108774 and is from that years production and was definitely issued into service with British forces. On the lft side of the frame above the grip is the British military proof stamp and in 1953 it was FTR - Factory Through Repaired. Below the 53 is the British military broad arrow acceptance.

Deactivated to EU/UK specifications with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
