Deactivated WWII Leand Lease Smith & Wesson M&P Revolver - Issued Canadian Forces

This is a WWII US made Lend Lease Smith & Wesson M&P .38 revolver. This example dates to 1942 production and bears the US flaming grenade ordnance acceptance stamps and retains its original wartime finish with matching numbers. Marked of the top strap "United States Property", this marking was most commonly associated with weapons what were assigned to the Lend Lease agreement between the UK and US governments. This revolver was issued to Canadian forces and is marked with the capital letter "C" with a broad arrow acceptance arrow within it. Canadian forces were active in nearly every front during the war, in the air, on land and at sea.
