Product Information

A WWII Lee Enfield No4 MKI* "Lend Lease" .303 rifle. Produced during WWII for the British Government, it was manufactured by US firm Savage Stevens under the 'lend lease" agreement to help arm Allied & Common Wealth forces. It is correctly marked "US Property" and has the US ordnance "Flaming Bomb" acceptance stamp. Note the remnants of the British drab olive green paint on the receiver. Many of these rifles failed to make it to Europe due to the heavy loses inflicted on merchant shipping by German U-boats. Thankfully this example made it. A great looking example with matched wood work. Deactivated with moving parts it comes with an EU/UK certificate of deactivation.
