Product Information

A lovely condition, matching numbers WWII Lee Enfield No4 MKI*.303 rifle. It was manufactured in 1942 by Savage Stevens for Allied forces under the "Lend Lease" agreement between the US and UK Governments. The receiver is stamped "US Property" to signify it was part of the lend lease programme. This rifle was shipped across the Atlantic, avoiding German U-Boat attack to Europe and was then issued to UK and Common Wealth troops. A great example with its matched wood work and bolt. Note the armorers repair to the top of stock, a good indication that this rifle saw active service during WWII. It comes with an original canvas sling and Savage made spike bayonet. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
