Product Information

This somewhat unusual looking rifle was the Belgium military's attempt to modernise its existing stocks of aging M1889 rifles. As the designation suggests this started in 1935. The design incorporates many similar design features found on other models of Mauser rifles. For example the forward barrel clamp is KAR98, the rear sight is K98 and the bolt assembly Gew98. This model was used by the Belgian army during WWII and often captured and issued to occupying German forces.
