A superb condition WWII Mosin Nagant Carbine model M38 (model of 1938)  with matching numbers. Dated 1944. Used extensively by the Red army during WWII. This model was manufactured without a folding bayonet and was the carbine used by WWII Russian Sniper ace Vasili Zaytsev  who was played by Jude Law during the opening scenes of "Enemy at the Gates" movie, when being taught to shoot as a young boy. Comes with correct sling, cleaning rod, ammunition pouches and inert 7.62mm rounds; a great set. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
