A superb example of the legendary Colt 1911A1. This example was manufactured in 1943 by Remington Rand. The serial number allocation for Remington that year was from 916405 to 1041404. One of only 125,999. The 1911a1 is most commonly associated with the US soldier and was the standard issued sidearm throughout WWII. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
