Product Information

This is an excellent example a WWII Russian Mosin Nagant Carbine model M38 (model of 1938) that was manufactured in 1942 by Izhevsk arsenal and has all matching numbers. The M38 was used extensively by the Red army during WWII. Russian Sniper ace Vasili Zaytsev  who was played by Jude Law during the opening scenes of "Enemy at the Gates" movie, when being taught to shoot as a young boy. During operation Bararossa, when Germany invaded Russia, large quantities of these carbines were captured and issued to German troops. Note the armourers repair to the fore-end of the woodwork, a good indication that this carbine saw active service.
