Product Information

This is a WWII Russian M91/30 rifle dated 1944 that has been converted into a sniper rifle being fitted with a PU scope and mounts. The scope is an original WWII issue dating to 1944 and has good clear optics. This particular rifle was imported from Russia into the USA by US arms company Tulsky. Imported rifles are required by US law to marked with the country of origin, hense the "Made in Russia" markings. These rifles are reputed to have been assembled from original Russian parts. The Nagant sniper rifle was made famous by the film Enemy at the Gates, a film about the Russian sniper ace Vassili Zaitsev, played by Jude Law. Zaitsev is credited with 242 kills in Stalingrad using his type of Nagant rifle. Russia, unlike most other military nations, also used women to carry out sniper duties, and had over 2000 during WW2. They proved very effective and accurate snipers!! It comes fitted with a sling and cleaning rod.
