A very impressive, early WWII Maxim model 1910 Machine gun with Sokolov Wheeled Carriage. Dated 1939 with matching numbers. The serial number is "79". Invented by Hiram Maxim in 1883, this was the first true heavy machine gun. It was capable of firing 500 rounds per minute. This one is equipped with a bullet defense shield and comes with ammunition box containing a 250 round belt. Plus various tools and equipment. Note this example has not been retrofitted with a "snow hopper". Would make a great centre piece to a collection.
