This is a WWII Russian Mosin Nagant M91/30 rifle, dated 1939 with the Tula Factory manufactures markings on the receiver. At some stage during its service life this Nagant was fitted with a scope. The receiver has the characteristic drilled holes used for the fitment of a side mounted scope rail. Its most likely the Russian's who converted it back into a conventional rifle. 1939 saw Russia invade Finland in an attempt to take back lost territories lost during WWI.
