An excellent deactivated WWII dated Nagant sniper rifle dated 1942 with matching numbers. Comes with correct leather sight cover, sling, oil bottle, bayonet, inert rounds, ammo pouches and tool kit. Made famous by the film Enemy at the Gates a film about the sniper Vassili Zaitsev. Zaitsev is credited with 242 kills in Stalingrad using his Nagant rifle. Russia, unlike most other military nations, also used women to carry out sniper duties, and had over 2000 during WW2. We dont think you will find a better example! And would make an excellent addition to any collection. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
