Product Information

Deactivated WWII Russian PPSH41 Submachine gun. Dated 1942 with virtually all matching numbers, including bolt and barrel. 1942 was first year of full production. One of the most iconic machine guns of world war two, instantly recognizable with its drum magazine short chunky appearance. During WWII, if captured by German forces, the PPSH41 was often used as a preferred weapon of choice. Simple and clever design meant it could be manufactured quickly and in large numbers, plus it worked in all environments and needed little maintenance. Interestingly this one has an unusual parkerized finish with the serial number prefix "AK". The AK47 was the assault that inevitable made the PPSH redundant after WWII, although production did continue. Comes fitted with 72 round drum magazine. Deactivated with a moving cocking handle and bolt selection that can be cocked and locked back with the bolt safety and will then return under spring tension when released. It can be stripped. The sling is no longer available.
