Product Information

This is a great example of a WWII Russian Tokarev SVT-40 with matching numbers. It was manufactured at the Tula arsenal and is an early exampled dated 1941 - the same year Nazi Germany invaded (Operation Barbarossa). This model was first introduced in 1940 and was Russia's version of the American M1 Garand. During Operation Barbarossa the Germans captured large quantities of these rifles and reissued them to there own troops to use against the Russians. They even had their own operating manuals and re-designated the SVT as the SIG259r.

This example features a moving and tensioned cocking/bolt assembly.
