This is a superb looking WWII SMLE No1 MKIII*. This rifle was reworked after the Second World War and is marked FR 47 (Factory Repair 1947), this is a good indication that it saw active service. It has matching numbers to the bolt, receiver, barrel and rear sights and the action bears British proofs stamps. A fabulous example.  Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. Comes with an EU/UK deactivation certificate.
