This is an excellent example of a WWII British Sten MK5 that has definitely seen action. The body, bolt spring and magazine have all suffered heavy impacts from either a bullet or shrapnel strike. The damage caused would have rendered this Sten unusable. Very few weapons that were damaged in this way during the war now survive as it would have been deemed as beyond repair and either destroyed or scrapped. This Sten dates to late 1944 early 1945 and would have been in service with British forces when it was hit. A great display item. It comes with the original damaged magazine and a spare plus an original sling and inert 9mm rounds. Deactivated to current specifications.
