Deactivated WWII Sten MKIII Submachine gun. The name STEN is an acronym of the weapon's chief designers, Mayor Reginald (S)hepperd, Harold (T)urpin and EN is for Enfield. Developed from the MKII, the MKIII was a simplified version that was design to be easy and cheaper to mass manufacture. Used extensively throughout world war two. Final assembly of this one was at the BSA, this is denoted by the B prefix at the beginning of the serial number. Fitted with an original WWII issued "T"stock. Broad arrow acceptance markings. Deactivated with moving cocking handle, trigger and selector switch . Comes fitted with wartime sling.
