This is a great condition WWII dated Russian SVT 40 fitted with scope and mounts. The rifle is dated 1941 the same year that Operation Barbarossa began when German forces invaded Russia. The scope is dated 1943 and has good clear optics. Russia, unlike most other military nations, also used women to carry out sniper duties, and had over 2000 during WW2. They proved very effective and accurate snipers!!
