Deactivated WWII Turkish M1938 Mauser Rifle

This is a WWII dated Turkish M1938 Mauser Rifle. One of only 40,000 produced by Kirkkale Arms Factory, Ankara in 1940 with lots of matching numbers.These rifles were converted by the Turks using German first world war Gew98s. Originally used by Turkish forces during the Gallipoli campaign of 1915-16 these rifles were reworked during WWII, with Turkey eventually sided with Allied forces in early 1945. A very interesting WW1 & WW2 Allied rifle and fairly scarce as most remained in Turkey.

Deactivated to current spefications with moving bolt and trigger.
