This is a WWII US Springfield M1903 Model 03-A3 rifle that was manufactured by Remington it is dated June 1943, who that month produced 32,351 rifles. Ths rifle would have been made in preparation for Operation Overlord - D-Day. A classic World War Two US rifle. It was used by US forces throughout WWII, and saw action during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
