A superb condition early WWII US Springfield M1903 Rifle, manufactured by Remington, dated January 1942 (1-42) just a month after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbour the US declared war on Germany, Japan and Italy . Used exclusively by US forces throughout the Second World War on all fronts. As the name suggests it was first introduced in 1903 and proved a very accurate and reliable service rifle seeing action in both world wars, Korea and Vietnam. Unit markings on the stock, correct US military carcouches to barrel and wood work. This fine examples comes fitted with correct WWII issue sling and hard to find tool/cleaning comprising of pull through and oiler. Much rarer than the M1903A4.  Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
