Product Information

A super condition WWII US Thompson 1928A1 Submachine gun. Auto-Ordnance, Bridgeport only manufactured this model from August 1941 until October 1942 with their last M1928A1 completed on 15th October that year. Government documents show that the Bridgeport factory manufactured a total of 323,900 M1928A1 during this period. This is a fairly example with serial number 68,499. The finish is original with both upper and lower sections matched with the correct US ordnance stamps on the receiver (WB = Colonel Waldemar Broberg) who served and inspected from July 1941 until June 1942. The wood work is in lovely condition, the gun is fitted with Cutts Compensator, finned barrel and adjustable flip up Lyman rear sights, later examples were fitted with fixed battle sights. Comes with sling and 30 round stick magazine. Deactivated to current specifications it is partially strippable.
