Deactivated WWII Vickers Machien Gun with Accessories

This is an impressive WWII Vickers machine gun that comes with a 1942 dated tripod with its matching pintle, WWII dated and Broad arrow stamped water cooling can, rubber hose and wooden ammunition box. The Vickers is also fitted with sight bracket to mount the a Dial Sight MKI. The serial number of this Vickers dates to mid 1942 production and would make a fantastic centre piece to any collection. The Vickers is one of the most iconic British infantry weapons seeing extensive service with British and Common Wealth forces all over the world and throughout both world wars. They continued in service with the British army until the 1960s.
