Deactivated WWII Webley .38 MK4 military issued revolver. Broad arrow acceptance marked and "War Finish" stamped on the frame, these revolvers were only marked and finished in this way during the second world war. The emphasis was on numbers rather than overall finish. This particular revolver is a good example of that process. The barrel has been through the final polishing process but the cylinders and frame have not. This type with the shorter barrel were often used by the RAF, tank and armored vehicle crews. Deactivated with a clear barrel and working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
