A First World War dated British Webley MK6 .455 revolver. The revolver is profusely broad arrow marked with 1918 acceptance and inspectors stamps. This revolver would have almost certainly been purchased by a British officer and taken to war and clearly shows evidence of extensive service use. British officers had to purchase their own kit including a sidearm and holster during WWI. Many MK6s were used again during the second world war. These first world war examples are now becoming increasing hard to find and very sought after. Deactivated to old specifications with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
