Deactivated ZB26 machine gun

A great condition Czechoslovakian ZB26 machine gun, chamber in German 7.92mm. The ZB-26 was adopted and used by Wehrmacht after the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1938 and re-designating it the MG26(t). In the opening stages of World War II it was used in large numbers by units of the German Waffen SS. They were also deployed and used during the defense of the beaches of France during the Allied D-Day landings. It is still considered by many to be the finest light machine gun of WWII. The build quality is outstanding. The design was used by the British to develop the legendary Bren gun. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
