Product Information

This is a very interesting Second World War Webley MKIII .38 revolver. This example was diverted from commercial to military channels. The serial number dates to the mid 1930s production, however has several broad arrow acceptance stamps and is unit marked 3 / 711. This mark means 3rd Military District (Australia), Rack No. 711. This variant in this calibre are also far less common without the hush button hammer safety lever. The British military used .38 whilst commercial and police MKIIIs were usually calibred in .32 and fitted with the hammer safety. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
