This is a very scarce Jager Dakota model 1873 single action 9mm blank firing revolver. During production of the live variants of this model, Jager converted small numbers in-house for the blank firing market. It is a very well made revolver made using the same quality components as the live examples. The live examples, of which the majority were sold to the USA, are now very sought after among shooters. Jager lavished the Datoka with a hand engraved floral design, brass pistol grip and trigger guard, steel frame and cylinders and a blued barrel, and Walnut grips.
