Product Information

This is a very unusual Browning Model 1900 pistol. It dates to between 1907 and 1914. This can be determined from the Browning script and fonts on the frame and slide. This particular pistol was a military issued gun that was captured and then reissued. The serial numbers have been removed and a regiment abbreviation added "C 2 4 R". The letter C may signify Cavalry or Company and the R for Regiment or Reserve. Another possibility is the WWII French Canadian regiment "Régiment de la Chaudière" who used these initials. Definitely worthy of further research.
