Product Information

The Browning model 1900 was one of the very first semi automatic pistols of its type. Designed by the legendary John Mosses Browning, it proved to be a very popular pistol being adopted by many military forces around the world. Production started in 1900 and ceased in 1914. This example dates to around 1908 to 1910 form serial number. At some stage it has been completely refinished to a very high standard. This model was used by Belgium and Austro-Hungarian forces during WWI, with many being captured and then re-issued. Chambered in 7.65mm, a calibre in common use with most military forces of the period.
