Product Information

This is a superb WWII US M1 Garand rifle. It was made by Springfield Armory and dates to February 1944 as the year and month of manufacture. This rifle would have almost certainly been involved during the D-Day landings of June 1944. No single long arm is more closely identified with the U.S. World War II infantryman than the rifle sometimes called "the last true butt stroker." The M-1 Garand's sturdy, 10-pound stock- unlike those of its successors-was heavy enough to deliver a lethal blow to an adversary. A really great example deactivated to current specifications with tensioned cocking lever. It comes fitted with the correct leather sling.
