Product Information

This is a WWI dated Winchester manufactured Enfield P14 rifle with its original matching bolt. The rifle is dated '17 (1917) and the serial number also confirms this as the year of manufacture. All parts are correct including the "fat boy " wood work. It would have been delivered to the UK is the early part of 1917. In total Winchester only delivered in the region of 225,000 -235,000 P14s during WWI, with the final batch being received in July 1917. This example has a distinctive red triangle painted on the left side of the stock that was most likely added whilst in service with the British Home Guard during WWII. The rear sight has been replaced with one from a WWII Lee Enfiled No4.
