Product Information

This is a scarce Czech military contract Ortgies pistol chambered in 7.65mm. It was supplied to the Czech's in the 1920's by the German Erfurt factory who were producing this model of Ortgies pistol. This example is from the Forth variation of which only 25,000 were made. This figure also includes the smaller calibred model chambered in 6.35mm. From this figure a small quantity were made for the Czech military. These pistols are stamped with the Czech Rampant Lion proof mark and last two digits of the year 24 =1924. During WWII this pistol would have been in use and may have fallen into Nazi ownership. The condition is completely original with its factory finish, wooden grips and correct magazine.
