Product Information

This is a great condition WWII US "Lead Lease" Lee Enfield No4 MKI* .303 Rifle. Only produced during WWII for the British Government, it was manufactured by US firm Savage under the "lend lease" agreement to help arm Allied & Common Wealth forces during the war. This rifle would have been shipped to help arm British and Common Wealth forces during the Allied invasion of Nazi occupied Europe. Many of these vital firearms failing to make it to Europe due to the heavy loses inflicted on merchant shipping by German U-boats. Thankfully this example made it. Interestingly this rifle found its way back to the US and has the importers name C.A.I. Georgia VT on the receiver. It has lovely wood work and comes fitted with a British canvas sling.

Deactivated to current specifications with moving bolt and removable magazine. This rifle can still be fully dismantled with the exception of the bolt.

This item is available for purchase and is currently at the proof house being certificated.
