Product Information

This is a WWII Lend Lease, Lee Enfield No4 MKI* .303 rifle. Dated 1943, it was manufactured by US firm Savage Steven. Stamped with "US Property", this marking was most commonly used on weapons that were assigned to the British military as part of the Lend Lease agreements between the British and US Governments during WWII. On the right side of the receiver / stock band are the initials "F M P", we believe they are an abbreviation for Field Military Police. During and after the war the British military had to police the millions of Allied troops and POW's. They were also key in rounding up Nazi officials and soldiers that were accused of war crimes.

Deactivated to current specifications with full moving parts.
