This a very rare and unique early plated Webley R.I.C. revolver in stunning condition. The makers name is S.W.Silver & Co . London . On the barrel is says Silver & Fletcher's Patent. " The Expert " . It is also has the name Jas J.Joicey on the frame . It is chambered in .450 , this the caliber first used by the British army . This early example is deactivated to old specifications and has a case ejector and hammer safety device . Both devices were patented jointly by Hugh Silver and Walter Fletcher in 1884 .  Deactivated with a full working action , can be cocked , stripped and dry fired . A fantastic piece of early revolver design.
