Product Information

Rare Browning 1922 Issued to West Berlin Police, American Sector. In the aftermath of WWII, Germany was broken up into sectors or zones, American, British and Russian etc. Policing these newly formed sector and zones was done using both German and Allied forces, with weapons being marked and issued according. American weapons were marked with a letter A and have a Sunburst (or Rosette) by the serial number. The total number of these pistols issued is very few, estimated around 6,090 across models 1910s & 1922s. Rarely seen as most remained in Germany or were taken back to the US once Germany was self governing. Still in great condition, one of the rarer FN 1922s. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
