Very Rare Adams Percussion Revolver. With 90% of its original deep blued finish. This is an antique percussion revolver and can be owned live without any form of license. These guns proved their worth in battle during the Crimean War. The Indian Mutiny of 1857 established the Adams as the official revolver of the British Army.
In the bitter fighting it was found that rapid fire was more important than accuracy, and the man-stopping power of the Adams' large .54 caliber bullet was highly valued.
A fantastic historic piece in lovely condition. The only minor issue is a missing safety spring. A real stunner.
