Product Information

Very rare deactivated early 1904 Dated (First year of production) BSA made, SMLE MKI**. This is a rifle with lots of history, and is a true first world war survivor. Broad arrow acceptance markings and regimental stamps. We believe this rifle to be very well traveled going by it's markings. Originally manufactured in Birmingham by BSA in 1904, it was then upgraded at the Ishaphore Rifle Factory and stamped IP (Indian Pattern).  It is also stamped and dated 1915, quite plausible that this rifle may have seen WW2 action as well. The wood work has lots of age. Remnant of the original volley sights are still intact. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
