Product Information

Very rare Lee Metford 1* .303 Rifle. Dated 1901 and manufactured by Enfield. This very rare WWI rifle still has its volley sights, bolt cover, magazine cut-off plate and correct single stack magazine. War department stamped and original wood work. More importantly it still has its regimental brass disc. We believe that "FA" at the top may stand for Field Artillery. Worthy of further research. A really stunning rifle. Not to be missed! Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
This is an extremely desirable collectors rifle and only the second one we have ever had for sale.
