Product Information

A superb original condition First World War dated Webley MKIII brass flare pistol. Dated 1916 with matching numbers and broad arrow acceptance stamps. The pistol grip is marked with what looks to be "6.G.G.7" - 6th Battalion, Grenadier Guards, weapon number 7. This regiment was formed in 1941 and was the first Grenadier Battalion to set foot on European soil since the ‘Debacle’ of Dunkirk when they landed on the beaches of Salerno. They also served under General Montgomery seeing action in Italy. A great piece of WWI & WWII history.

Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dru fired.

This flare pistol is available and is currently at the proof house being certificated.
