Deactivated WWII Plated British Military Colt .38 Special Police Positive Revolver. During WWII the British Army had a shortage of firearms. The British made an agreement with the United States to supply arms to help with this short fall. This rare Colt is broad arrow marked. It is also plated, this was most commonly done as a private purchase by the owner after leaving service. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
