A superb condition, all matching numbers, Austrian Rast & Gasser Model 1898 revolver, chambered in 8mm. These beautifully engineered revolvers were first produced in 1898 and ended in 1918 with around 200,000 manufactured. They were used by the Austro-Hungarian armies during WWI and saw extensive service with Axis forces during WWII. This excellent example pre-dates WWI and is still in incredible original condition with crisp deep bluing and unblemished wooden grips. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
