Product Information

An early Second World War Erma (27 coded) manufactured K98. Erma only produced the K98 from 1935 to 1941 and were never able to achieve the large volumes of guns compared with most other companies contracted to produce it, and had only manage to produce a total of 135,000 K98s by the end of 1937. This example is from early 1939 production when only an estimated 150,000 K98s were made. The serial number is very low, 1239 and has the letter suffix of "a' meaning it is around number 12,390th of that years production. That year saw the introduction of the cupped but plates and Waffenamt 280. This K98 comes fitted with a cleaning rod and reproduction leather sling. Deactivated with a working action, it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
