Product Information

This is a superb matching numbers Argentine manufactured Mauser Model 1909 military cavalry carbine. They are based upon the German K98 and chambered in 7.65 x 53. This example is marked to the Argentinian Army - "Ejercito Argentino" with the Argentine crest on top of the receiver ring. It was manufactured in Argentina by Fabrica Militar de Armas Portatiles (F.M.A.P.) (Light Weapons Military Factory) Domingo Matheu, belonging to the Direccion General de Fabricaciones Militares ( D.G.F.M.) (General Directorship of Military Factories). Very few of these cavalry carbines were made, around 19,900. Serial numbers started at 000001 and finished at around 019900. This is a very early example with a low serial number of 001508 (one thousand, five hundred and eighth) that appears on the wood work, receiver, bolt and floor plate. They are rarely seen in the UK.

Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. Comes with EU/UK deactivation certificate.
