Product Information

This is a rare early production Mauser manufactured K98. The S/42G coding was only used by Mauser for one year 1935, and was only the second year of K98 production. The total production was an estimated 182,317. It bears the correct early Weimar stamps WaA211 & K167". They were supplied to the German army, navy and airforces with the known serial numbers range from 3526 to 2335s. Very few of these now exist and they are seldom seen. An unusual feature is the armorers repaired to the wood work. Of considerable interest; these early carbines would have been used during the many military parades and Nazi proper gander films as well as seeing military action first. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
